You will hear a taped message giving another telephone number for the out-of-hours service (0300 123 5566). This centre is operated separately from the
Accident and Emergency Department.
The Primary Care Centre at Glan Clwyd Hospital is staffed by receptionists, specially trained nurses and general practitioners who will ascertain and deal with your requirements.
This service must be initially accessed by telephone.
DISABLED ACCESS
Central, Meliden and Ffynnongroew Surgeries
Each of the three surgeries has been specifically designed with the disabled patient in mind. Each has a ramp, disabled toilet facilities and wheelchair access throughout.
MOBILE PHONES
Please ensure you do not use your mobile phones within the surgery building.
CAR PARKING
Limited car parking is available at Central Surgery.
Whilst no specific car parks are available at Meliden and Ffynnongroew Surgeries
it is usually easy to park near the surgeries in these villages.
THE PRESTATYN CENTRAL SURGERY COMMUNITY LEAGUE OF FRIENDS
The surgery's League of Friends was established in 1997 and runs a car service
for the patients registered with Central Surgery. Transport is available for visits
to surgery, clinics or hospitals. Please telephone the practice if you wish to
use this service.
The League's voluntary drivers do not charge for providing
this service. However, donations to the League are always greatly appreciated
when received. The League does buy items of equipment for the surgery to help
with patient care and comfort.
